Here is another VV ID model: this is the new SUV ID.4. The all-electric starter is the next step in Wolfsburg’s plans to publish a whole series of EV numbers from 1 to 7.
The new ID.4 is a larger and more convenient ID.3 payment model with the same device options as below. If it sounds familiar, it’s because it’s based on the concept of Roomzz ID.
So this is a family SUV, then …
Hmm. It is longer and has a longer wheelbase than the Tiguan. So the VV claims to have just as much space as the full-size SUV. Still five seats, but with a much larger trunk ID.3 – 543 liters as opposed to 3,385.
The overall picture has not changed significantly compared to the concept. The car has an almost explosive silhouette that looks like a brake, with a bluffed front end. According to VV, ID.4 with LED matrix lights is available under the motto IK.Light, optionally with backlight with 3D effect (pictured in a yellow car).
Please specify performance and scope
ID.4 uses the same basic platform and works as ID.3. To ensure maximum performance and range, the SUV has a version of the ID.3 electric motor with 201 hp and 229 lb ft, which drives the rear wheels and is powered by a 77 kWh battery. It is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.5 seconds, and VV claims to have a maximum range of 323 miles.

The choice will be extended to all-wheel drive and a larger capacity battery in 2021.
Any other details?
There aren’t many ID.3s yet. The concept of the interior is essentially the same, although there is more space inside than in the hatchback. A clean cockpit with a handle for selecting driver tools and storage cubes on the center console.
The main augmented reality screen is on the list of options – something that VV managed to throw out of the door with the new S-Class in front of Mercedes – and the connected infotainment system has real-time traffic data and current updates on the status of the country’s favorite chargers and the possibility of a ready car over the phone.
When and how much
ID.4 will be available for the first time in two limited editions: 1st and 1st Mac. The first version has 20-inch wheels, heated seats, a parking camera, dual-zone air conditioning, adaptive travel, navigation and more. In Germany, this version will cost 49,950 euros, according to BB – which means that the price in Great Britain will be around 45,000 British pounds before the supplement is approved.

Mac and this list of specifications is complemented by the aforementioned LED matrix lights and 3D beacons, 21-inch wheels, adjustable shock absorbers, panoramic glass roof and slides, handsfree lighting, augmented reality and other safety technologies. With friendly greetings for 59,950 euros in Germany or about 55,000 British pounds in Great Britain.
These two limited models will be on sale until the end of 2020, and additional power plants and regular specifications will be available in the summer of 2021.
